Guitar Duet

This duo was formed after several concerts based around the theme of discovering the guitar and all its facets.

Having the same musical background (advanced studies at the Conservatoire and having played in Genevan rock-fusion-jazz groups) it was quite natural that one day these two guitarists would end up by forming a duo together.

The two musicians are also composers and teachers, which further increases their complicity.

Their repertoire is centred around major jazz composers like Chick Corea or Wes Montgomery, but also around more popular artists such as Sting. The two guitarists also compose original material for the duo and 50% of their current repertoire is made up of themes written expressly for this formation.

Improvisation plays an important part in their music and the many musical influences bring a large variety of styles to their programme.

Each concert is a journey through most types of music open to the guitar: Latin, jazz, funk, blues, pop or classical, always interpreted with a touch of humour and a lot of energy.
